Cindy Gier, P.E.

is a registered Fire Protection Engineer with over 19 years of experience in building evaluations, plans review, fire protection system design, evaluation and testing.  She has worked in every aspect of the building process including as:

¨   An electrical design/build engineer and project manager, 

¨ City Plans Examiner doing general, building, fire, mechanical, electrical, structural and life safety plan reviews.

¨   Private Fire Department Plans Examiner and Inspector serving as Fire Marshal for new construction in Overland Park, KS.

¨    Consulting Fire Protection Engineer in the design of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems, life safety and code review projects.

¨   Cindy is a Certified Building Official (CBO), a  Master Code Official and a member of National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE)  and the International Code Council (ICC).

¨ As President of CMG Fire Protection Engineering, Inc., Cindy is able to use all of her experience from years in the industry and valuable contacts with architects, engineers, owners, fire marshals and code officials.
